  More worried about collecting money than helping a patient. This business is not about healing or helping, but selling tests, and not giving test results. After 2 1/2 months after the battery of tests, and repeated requests for test results, I still not heard back from anyone who can explain the tests and what is wrong with my heart. I have been experiencing arrhythmias; what I thought were PVC's, and a couple bouts of atrial fibrillation. I went in for the initial consultation, and they ordered a stress test and a halter monitor. During the stress test, the administrator talked almost non-stop about people he knows, and I was worried that he wasn't paying attention to the test. When I dropped off the halter monitor, they said I'd be hearing back about the results. I never did hear back, so I called and was told by whoever answered the phone that they thought everything was ok, but they'd check and call me back. I never heard back, so I called again a couple weeks later, and got the same run around, but was told I had a couple PVCs during the stress test, but they had to check the halter monitor, and they'd get back in contact. Never heard back, so I called a couple weeks later. They said they'd have someone call me back. Never heard back, called again and was told I had some premature Atrial Contractions, and that they would try to have the doctor call me, or they'd set an appointment. As of today, I have still not heard back. I have no idea what is going on with my heart, and I hear from the bill collectors every other day trying to collect on a bill.

  I am in the Heart Hospital as I write this. From the patients perspective I would say I very much liked the care I received. Like anyplace with sick people there are folks that are sicker than you at any particular moment. This is why there are perceived delays but not true delays. My care has been very good and as I have a very rare disease I was looked after attentively. The menu was just changed yesterday 9-18-17 and the upgrades in a heart hospital are really welcome. I was getting extremely bored with the menu prior and that doesn't help when you are trying to stimulate your appetite. The Doctors here are fantastic and I begged my hospitalist to take me on for primary care. Unfortunately she turned me down. Some things are truly amazing that they do bedside. I had a 3D echocardiogram on Sunday in my hospital bed. Today I had an ultrasound of my abdomen and they keep amazing me in the tech and people taking care of me. So bottom line is I highly recommend the Heart Hospital of Plano. The care is what you come for and they work hard to keep you going .

  I am 55 years old, and never expected to need the services of a thoracic surgeon. I smoked too much, drank too many beers, didn't eat enough vegetables. Needed a triple bypass. I was scared to say the least. Dr Brinkman calmed me and his staff got me through the procedure. Not like I was going to have any fun, but he is confident, capable, talented, and told me exactly what was going on. The staff were outstanding. Irish, Joliene, every nurse I came in contact with, cared about me and how I was doing. I can't say enough about the staff at this hospital. Wow, I have never felt so loved and important as I did at this hospital. I felt the dedication, caring, and genuine love these people have for their patients and their needs, fears, concerns, and the simple fact that you were a person and not a patient number. Thank you all for everything. I hope everyone experiences the love and caring I got from all of them. Thank you, Charles Andrews P.S. Every one of you are officially on the Xmas card list!!!
